The Silverstone Edition was a limited run produced to celebrate the 1994 British Grand Prix, blending classic Cooper performance with a unique, racing – inspired aesthetic.  The Silverstone Mini is powered by a 1275Ccc single port injected motor and uses a 4 speed manual transmission. This Mini was originally sold in Germany, went to the Netherlands in 2011, before being imported to Canada in 2018. Almost every part of the car has been restored throughout the years of ownership. Major body restoration was completed in 2018, with the engine, gearbox, interior and suspension being renewed there after.  The exterior features flawless black paint, Union Jack roof decal in silver, MK1 chrome grill, round side marker lights, clear jewel tail lamps and Swiftune racing mirrors.

Cobra Monte Carlo seats with custom upholstery, extended seat brackets for taller occupants, authentic Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel and hub, black moulded carpets new door cards,rear seat cover and restored birds eye maple trim complete the interior. The suspension consists of Minispares hi-lo Protech adjustable shocks, and custom Force Racing 10” wheels with Yokohama A-008's turns this mini into a street go-cart. A 7.5” brake conversion and finned rear drums ensures it stops on a dime.  The engine was rebuilt in 2020 with a new crank, Minispares Evolution 001 camshaft, K&N filter and a Playmini stainless steel exhaust.  The gearbox was also rebuilt at the same time, using a central oil pick up kit, MED ST1 clutch and flywheel and a Minispares short shift kit.
