1924 Ford Model T

Check out this fully restored 1924 Ford Model T Huckster!  It just finished its complete restoration in 2022 and currently has 0 miles on it.  This 1924 Ford Model T has a freshly rebuilt 20 bhp, 176.7 c.i. four cylinder inline engine, with a rebuilt two speed planetary transmission, solid front axle with dual front coils, live rear axle with transverse semi-elliptic leaf spring, and two-wheel mechanical drum brakes.  The robust and reliable Model T was a good platform on which to construct a station wagon or “depot hack” body.  Ford did not offer a factory body so all wagons came from outside suppliers.  A non-passenger alternative such as this one was referred to as the “Huckster”, with an open area in the back for cargo.  Low sides allow for maximum visibility of the payload, very useful for a merchant selling produce for example.  Commercial variants on the Model T chassis, while once common on our roads, are seldom seen today.  This truck is rare and an excellent example of the 1924 Ford Model T Huckster.

The front windshield opens at the top, the doors and side are all vinyl and clasp tightly into place.  The fabrication of the roof is done extremely well.  The headlight bulbs are on order and will be installed upon arrival.  The battery is a six volt.  Come check out this remarkable piece of history.
