The spacious and luxurious interior is beautifully finished in matching red and while vinyl with colour keyed door panels. The dash features a full compliment of factory switches and gauges showing plenty of vintage charm.  The original 6 volt electrical system has been converted and upgraded to 12 volts. This Fairlane is powered by the classic Ford overhead valve Y-block V8, and uses a column shift ‘3 on the tree’  3 speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission run smooth and strong. Under the hood is a combination of period correct components and finishes, including ribbed aluminum Thunderbird valve covers and a modern Holley chrome air filter housing. This Fairlane rides on iconic Kelsey – Hayes style true spoke wire wheels with vintage – style 3 prong tri-bar spinner hubcaps with the Ford logo. Premium wide whitewall tires enhance the retro look.
