This example has undergone a comprehensive older rolling restoration. The body is rust free and fully repainted in the original BMW silver. New windshield and factory rubber gaskets were installed at that time. The suspension is new, including springs, Koni shocks and struts, bushings and tie rod ends. The engine has been rebuilt with new 9.5:1 compression pistons, bearings and all wear items replaced using all BMW factory parts. A new triple core radiator handles the cooling. The head was also rebuilt. A ceramic coated shorty header and new BMW factory exhaust system are used. The factory 4 speed transmission was rebuilt and uses a new clutch and slave cylinder. The interior has been restored using vintage Recaro sport seats with matching rear seat upholstery and door cards. An Alpine radio is installed in the new centre console and is connected to 6x9 speakers. The battery has been relocated to the trunk with a kill switch. Carpets are new. The heavy North American bumpers have been replaced with factory Euro slim profile bumpers. 13” refurbished Alpina style wheels and Vredestein Classic Sprint tires keep this car firmly planted in the corners. A thick binder with receipts and extensive maintenance records accompany this vehicle.  Sold certified and ready to enjoy.  Delivery is included within Ontario.
